All Day Sickness

昨天竟然又狂吐了三次，早上才吃完一片吐司，準備要出門了，突然覺得有點怪怪的，我就說，我有點想要吐，話才ㄧ說完，整個就從嘴巴"噴"出來了，一點也沒誇張，整個餐桌都是⋯⋯⋯ 晚上吃完晚餐一個多小時後也不舒服，覺得反胃，也是衝到廁所大吐，晚餐全部都吐出來了，後來就刷牙洗臉準備睡覺，才ㄧ躺下，馬上又覺得不對勁，又衝到廁所吐⋯⋯ 整個人趴在洗手台上，都沒東西了還可以吐⋯⋯ 

回到床上躺著，都沒力氣了，突然感覺到baby一直在動ㄟ！讓我這快虛脫的媽突然臉上露出笑容～～ 

I puked three times yesterday. I don't think I should call it "morning sickness" but "all-day sickness!" Threw up to a point where there was nothing left.... I literally needed to run to the bathroom. Finally I was back in bed feeling so weak and dehydrated, and my baby started moving so much! That brought a big smile on my face!

Pregnancy: Week 20

Yay! I'm half way through! 20 weeks down and 20 more to go! 

This week has been exciting. Had an advanced ultrasound done on Monday and we were able to see our baby's head, arms, legs, feet, spine, heart, kidney, stomach, etc, even eyeballs. We saw the heart pumping and the baby's mouth chewing. And we found out we're expecting a baby boy! It's amazing to see how a life has developed wonderfully inside my womb. My heart melts and of course, tears of joy!! All glory to God our Creator! We will go through the ultrasound reports with the doctor in detail next week. Our baby boy weights about 9 ounces. 

Also, on Wednesday, around 5:30AM, I had my very first "quickening" while I was lying in bed feeling hungry and thinking what to eat. [i've learned that in pregnancy terms, quickening is the moment in pregnancy when the pregnant woman starts to feel or perceive fetal movements in the uterus.]

At first, I was like, did I just feel the baby move? Then the movement just kept coming... It's amazing!!! It's like someone gently poking your belly, but from the inside... Heehee. Can't wait for more of his acrobatics!

✌孕期已經過了一半！20週過去，只剩另外20週！

這禮拜很興奮，禮拜一去照了深層的超音波，有看到baby的頭、手腳、脊椎、心臟、腎臟、胃、等等很多部位，還有看到眼球喔～ 我們看到心臟的跳動還看到baby嘴巴像吸東西一樣動來動去。我們也知道baby是個男生！看到一個生命在肚子裡奇妙的成長真的是很不可思議，我的心都融化了，當然，充滿了喜樂的眼淚！歸榮耀給神，祂是我們全能的創造主！下個禮拜醫生會再跟我們說明超音波的報告。Baby現在體重大概9盎司。

這禮拜三早上5:30，我感受到第一次的胎動，我剛好醒來還躺在床上，肚子好餓，還在想說要吃什麼。一開始我還不是很確定，後來在同一個地方，動了好幾次，太奇妙了！感覺很像有人輕輕的在按我的肚子，但是是從肚子裡面按喔～

It's a BOY!

BOY or GIRL?

Last time we saw our baby by ultrasound was more than two months ago. I've been waiting patiently and extremely looking forward to seeing him/her again, our previous bundle of joy. People have been asking and making guesses on the gender of the baby. As of now, we don't know yet. The answer will be revealed tomorrow!

上次從超音波看到baby已經是兩個多月以前了，很有耐心的一直等待，期待可以再看到我們寶貝的baby. 很多人都在問是男生女生，也有人已經在猜baby的性別。現在，我們還不知道。敬請期待明天答案揭曉！

Stretch Marks

It's really a big change on the body when a woman gets pregnant, especially the impacts due to the surge of hormones. For me, the area around my belly button gets kind of hairy... And it itches. So I need to put on lotions everyday. As the baby grows, I can feel the skin of my belly tightens. 

I think most expecting mothers are worried about the appearance of stretch marks. According to webMD, it is "impossible" to prevent stretch marks. Of course, only those who went through the pregnancy know if it's inevitable.

Keeping my belly moisturized everyday and feeling comfortable is the most important!

女人懷孕身體上真的有很大的改變，尤其是身體裡荷爾蒙帶來的影響。我的話嘛，就是肚子肚臍周圍變得比較毛，而且常常會很癢很癢。這是肚子還沒凸起來就有的症狀，所以每天都要擦乳液。Baby慢慢長大，肚子也感覺越來越緊。

我想每個孕婦都會很注意妊辰紋的出現，查了一下網站上的醫療網站，上面說妊辰紋是"不可能"預防的⋯⋯ 當然這也只有生過小孩的媽媽們才知道。每天讓肚皮保持滋潤，皮膚感到舒服最重要！
